Web Design for Yoga Studio
FitYoga Windsor is a new yoga studio in Windsor, NS, offering a dynamic fusion of yoga that offers both the spiritual and mental benefits of traditional yoga as well as an intensive physical workout. FitYoga is offered by Windsor’s own Sarah Dunham, Canada’s ambassador for FitYoga, in a beautiful and historic older home across from Haliburton House.
A new business in Windsor, FitYoga Windsor wanted a yoga studio web design that would act as an online portal for new and existing clients. It needs to integrate closely with the MindBody app, a software package that helps the owner manage classes and clients, and helps participants find and sign up for classes. (MindBody is a pretty nifty application, by the way, with a whole pack of features.)
We started with a fresh WordPress install and a nice clean theme from the WordPress repository. This theme is easy to use and easily updated and has clean coding, while staying away from any complicated shortcodes or proprietary trickery that sometimes can make future website work difficult (the site you’re already on is a perfect example, as I recently revamped due to this exact reason, having ignored my own advice for too long).
The site allows space for a blog as well as an online catalogue for yoga mats and accessories, and has a ton of potential for expansion if and when needed. Ongoing classes as well as special events and workshops will be a recurring feature.
Whether you’re considering trying yoga for the first time or taking your yoga activity to a new level, you should definitely add FitYoga Windsor to your list. This website will definitely be growing and adding new elements over the next few months, so be sure to follow along and keep up with FitYoga Windsor for updates.
